St George's Day(ish!) Parade 2011 (audio blog)
It's been a remarkably warm, sunny weekend so far - considering in just a week's time it'll be thirteen years since Beth and I got married, and that was a near-freezing, drizzly day, the contrast has been rather stark. That said, the springlike breeze and the cool evenings have been wonderful, so despite the heat, it's been very pleasant.
Easter's a little later this year, too, so the Luton Scouts' St George's Day Parade was brought forward to today, and for the first time, Lenni was responsible for carrying the flag; in previous years Christopher has had the opportunity, so it's nice that she's had a turn.
Below, then, is a brief audio account of the march and some photos of the children in the bright sunshine.
