Audioboo: London Zoo - The Rainforest Life boo (post sloth escape attempt)
I was fortunate enough to be invited to one of London Zoo's special "Zoo Lates" evenings a couple of weeks ago, by my dear friend and colleague, Ann. It was my first visit to the zoo, but we certainly weren't the only people there - crowds had turned out to enjoy the special events (including the strangest 'silent disco' I've ever experienced!) so the small zoo was very busy.
One of my favourite areas was the Rainforest Life zone - a warm, humid area with an atrium where all sorts of interesting creatures were scurrying around. I recorded an AudioBoo of the soundscape within. We'd just witnessed the attempted escape of a sloth, which was meet with surprise and amusement by the folks nearby (there's a pictoral account below - the sloth was eventually 'persuaded' back into the atrium with a broom!)
